yep, that's me! HAH!

in other news, i really want to write a scathing review of zach snyder's adaptation of one of my favorite works of literature ever--WATCHMEN. but i have no time. suffice to say, i did NOT enjoy myself. zach snyder does not understand CHARACTER. he thinks making something for adults is to include a lot of gratuitous violence and having his actors say 'fuck' a lot. he made the movie pretty to look at, kept huge chunks of the dialogue in an attempt to stay faithful, but totally missed out on the small moments and details that made so many of us love and believe in the characters. zach snyder tried to be faithful, but failed in going for too many broad strokes, and for succumbing to his hugely adolescent urges. a fine example of post-millennium dumbed-down culture--"awesome" culture.

more news: i shoot my 2nd semester adaptation project in a matter of weeks. scrambling at the moment to get everything settled, not least of all casting and LEARNING how to direct actors. this shit is hard, but i hope i can rise to the challenge.
